The Cottage @ Smoky House

Based in rural North Devon, The Cottage @ Smoky House is attached to a 400 year old farmhouse and is a luxury retreat for couples or families looking for a break. WiFi; two bedrooms; a conservatory with aircon, two seater sofa and two chairs, Smart TV and a table with four chairs; kitchen with a washing machine, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave and a modern shower room. The patio offers a table with seating for four and kettle bbq. We welcome dogs max two per stay for an additional charge.

This is a unique experience, and offers the luxury of staying in a quaint modern cottage where you are not overlooked and have total privacy. If you want peace and tranquility, then you will enjoy this space.

New for the 2020 season, The Cottage @ Smoky House has been redeveloped with the addition of a conservatory including air conditioning, blinds for privacy, a Smart TV with included Netflix access and a Jukebox. This has created two permanent bedrooms, one double with wardrobe space and one twin. The twin bedroom has a wardrobe, Smart TV with included Netflix access, board games and PS4. 

Our location offers easy access to both the North Cornwall and North Devon coastline, yet also near enough to visit Dartmoor in a day.

There is so much to see and do in this area including cycling the Tarka Trail, visiting RHS Rosemoor, surfing at local beaches including Westwood Ho and Bude or simply looking to walk some of the stunning coastline of both North Devon and North Cornwall. However if you simply just want to get away from it all, you can chill and enjoy the beautiful and peaceful setting without even leaving the cottage.

During the high season (25th July to 5th September) check in/check out on Saturday’s. Currently bookings are set for a maximum of up to 28 nights.
